Florence Wine Merchants is a fledgling operation dedicated to bringing high quality, small production, Italian wines direct to consumers (DTC) in the United States. With a 15 year background in web marketing and sales, and considerable experience in the wine industry, we feel that the opportunity for selling new and unique products to savvy consumers is compelling. We expect to be operational with our first selections in early 2010, but we are still actively seeking winemaking partners here in Tuscany and other parts of Italy who are interested in having their own direct to consumer sales in the U.S. Our business model is explained in more detail here.
